Let's go to Europe today shall we?
Before you start cooking, let's put on a nice European style attire.
Ingredients for 16 servings, around 2 x 280ml jars :
6 Tbsp unsalted butter, divided to 2
1/2 cup minced shallot
1 pound/453grams chicken livers
Salt to taste
1.5 to 2 clove minced garlic
2 tbsp capers
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp anchovy paste (optional), I have replaced with prawn paste
1/4 cup brandy, you can add more
1/4 cup cream
Note : For non alcoholic, you may replace Brandy with apple or white grape juice.
Stay refrigerated, can keep for 2 weeks.
Spread it on bread, rice crackers, chips or just use on veggie/pita bread wraps. YUMMMM!
